About GreenFields Academy

Training program for responsible farmers.

From 2021, GreenFields Academy promotes the implementation of sustainable agriculture practices through an ultra-specialized program for farmers. We bring farmers and other agribusiness professionals together to find the right technical solutions to ensure the economic viability and well-being of ecosystems.

Is GreenFields Academy for you?

A dynamic program for change in agriculture.

We grow together through informed community.

– SuprafaÈ›a gestionată de minim 100 ha;

– Disponibilitatea de implementare în cadrul fermei a practicilor învățate la curs, pe minim 5 hectare;

– CunoaÈ™terea limbii engleze e necesară la un nivel cel puÈ›in mediu.

Who is GreenFields Academy for?

  • The program is aimed at arable farmers;
  • Farm area of at least 100 ha;
  • Willingness to implement the practices learned in the course on at least 5 hectares;
  • Intermediate English level is required.

Why participate?

Tomorrow's agriculture is only for prepared farmers. We offer an ultra-specialized training program in which we facilitate technical e-learning courses, offline meetings for on-farm visits, and an ongoing exchange of information and experiences between farmers in the GreenFields community. Adopting conservation practices has become a necessity in the context of climate change. That's why the courses focus on minimum tillage practices and machinery, cover crops and crop diversification options. In addition, presentations on technical topics such as plant nutrition and digital farming, or related topics on legislation, financing and marketing, provide the depth of information that farmers need today.

About information providers

The information within the GreenFields Academy program is of technical nature, with direct applicability on farms. Information is being provided by three main sources: The first is represented by the partner companies of the program that bring up-to-date and actionable non-commercial information for the participating farmers. The second source is Patrick Valmary, program partner, expert and consultant in sustainable integrated agriculture. The third source of knowledge is represented by the participating farmers themselves, who contribute with their own experiences and case studies to enrich the information presented.
